Liverpool v/s Wigan Athletic

FINAL SCORE 1-2
HALF TIME 0-1

In the first half of the season we thought that those 1-1 draws at Anfield will turn into big wins, but it seems it has gone the opposite way !! In one word, the performance was Disgraceful !! I can't believe this is a Kenny Dalglish team cause I don't find any difference between his and Roy Hodgson's Liverpool which was criticised heavily ! The tormented period lasted just 6 months but now it seems it is back to haunt us !!

Till December, our attack was weak but our defence was hailed as one of the best but now both of them are *blech* ........... not up to Liverpool standards !!

Reina - The goals weren't his fault ....... he did his best !!
Skrtel - was at fault for the penalty and the 2nd goal too !
Carrager- It is sad to say but his time is up !!
Enrique - Good passes and runs but not enough
Flanagan - needs more first team experience, not ready

Spearing - did his assigned duties ........ that's all, nothing exceptional
Gerrard - :(
Henderson - Kenny was right to replace him (atleast one nice decison)
Sterling - nice debut !!
Shelvey - good diagonal passes but not enough
Downing - certainly getting better but needs to be reminded that nothing happens the same way twice

Suarez - the silver lining
Carroll - the commentator was right in asking whether carroll will be able to turn balls in the right direction in 10 years ...... I doubt it !!

Kenny Dalglish needs to maintain a constant starting lineup ...... every week we see a minimum of 3/4 changes ..... that is certainly not healthy for the team's development !
If results don't change ..... I will forget that he is the king and will start asking for his sacking !! I wish I was at Anfield so that I could jeer (Booooooooooo) and show my displeasure !!

Positives : 1) Sterling debut ...... talented lad, has a great future !
2) One week break now ...... time to freshen things up !

Waiting for Kenny's reaction !! Hope he doesnt protect his players again ........ this is enough !!

Star Rating :

PS. Wigan were good !
