The Big Bang Theory Season 5 Episode 20

We have seen some great episodes this season but sadly this episode is not one of them. It is difficult to point out what exactly is wrong .......... But simply said, it is boring !!

Penny tries to redeem herself for eating the gang's food by buying Leonard and Sheldon a mint, in the box 1975 Spock (Star Trek) transporter toy. Spock appears in Sheldon's dream and convinces him to open the box and play with the toy. While doing so, he breaks it ! He decides to switch the broken toy with Leonard's closed one but in the end confesses everything !! Meanwhile, Raj who is tired of being single asks his parents to set him up with a nice Indian girl !! But the girl Lakshmi turns out to be gay !!

It is just another BBT episode, not too bad and not too good !! It is just average ! Raj's storyline takes center stage which does not go down well cause the story is not allowed to develop, it is hastened a bit.  We expect to see actual Leonard Nimoy (Spock) but it is just his voice. Also Sheldon appears to agree to everything Spock says without any argument (so unlike him). Leonard, Penny, Howard and Bernadette are just shadow characters !

A few positives .......... Posture changing scenes of the Spock toy are funny and so is Sheldon's confession.
