Liverpool v/s Aston Villa

We are Back !! Indeed we are back !! What a great performance !! The last 20 minutes were OMG ..... Super Awesome. The match started with me telling my father that I was ready to be sad again but am so happy with our performance ......... It was a draw but it shows we are back on track !! Kuyt-Bellamy-Suarez-Gerrard-Carroll ...... what a great fivesome !!


We were a little lethargic in the first half .... and we were unlucky to concede the first Villa goal !! Also unlucky not to get the first Kuyt shot (Goal Line Technology : needed urgently). But we turned on in the last 10 minutes of the first half and did not stop since. We picked up in the 2nd half after the Daniel Agger was introduced ........ we so missed him.


I am not disappointed at all with the result cause we were so much better than all the recent games (since Arsenal) ...... but I can't help but think why we cant play with the desire and intensity we showed in the last 20 minutes for the whole 90 ! Why do we need a goal or a substitute to accelerate us ??

Doni : First competitive game for Liverpool (last played against Rangers in an October friendly and dislocated a finger) ........ and he was good. The goal was partly his fault but we need to keep in consideration that he was pushed. He wasn't tested enough ..... but anyways he was not shabby. At least I am not afraid now.

Flanagan : Good, but still not ready ...... we need Johnson on RB urgently !
Carragher : Not exceptional, just did his job.
Enrique : Good passes and crosses. Flowed through Villa defenders easily.
Agger : He is Back !! That's exactly what we needed ....... Woohoo !
Skrtel : Great saves in the first half when we were not up to the point.

Gerrard : Just love Cappie G ..... was fantastic and certainly the Man of the Match for me !
Kuyt : super unlucky today .... we really need to keep him at Liverpool.
Shelvey : Average, all his shots were not on target ....... more practice please.
Downing : has been so good since the Carling Cup final, don't know why he was substituted !
Henderson : Some people say he was good but I think he was shite ...... worst player today !!

Suarez : did not deserve the yellow card, he was awesome ..... created space in crowded Villa defense with ease ! the tap-in goal was awesome ...... GO El-Pistolero !!
Carroll : Okay ..... but should have scored !
Bellamy : great again but only after Agger came in ! Good Shots on Target !!


At times we were world class !! I think we are ready for Blackburn. Hope we win that game and gain some momentum for the Semi against Everton.
