After such a long time, finally a good episode of HIMYM ......... the last few episodes had been drab, boring and a little too dramatic ! Episode 20 too has it's share of drama but it is complimented with great comedy .......... !
In the year 2000, Ted and Marshall make a pact to get together and see the Star Wars trilogy every 3 years. They start imagining how their lives would be when they have Trilogy Time again ...... and this is what the episode is mostly about !! They make assumptions about the future and then reevaluate them after 3 years. Meanwhile, Quinn moves in with Barney after selling all her stuff. She just has one teeny-tiny condition that they use her coffee mugs instead of Barney's (Idk why ??), however Barney refuses to accept this as he doesn't think that this relationship is going to last. But by the end of the episode he realizes he wants to be with Quinn for a long long time (how long exactly ..... 3 episodes maybe) !
What makes this funny is the return of the real Barney Stinson (the ladies man) ........ his predictions of the next 3 years are awesome throughout 2003-2012 and his Wazzzzzzzzupppppp is cool and brings laughs. The Fart-Saga is a good way to start the episode and is funny too. Even Ted and Marshall's assumptions/predictions are amusing. Robin and Lily dont play much part except being caricatures in the guys' reflections. I may be repeating this but Quinn and Barney make a super great couple and I really want to see more of them. Quinn as a character is amazingly woven.
In the end we have a flash forward to 2015 where it is shown that Ted is married and a father to a beautiful daughter. This means one thing, Season 8 is probably going to be the last season :( !!
Overall a pretty good episode (super great when compared to the last few) !! My only complaint is that ....... umm ......... ummm ....... well i dont have any !!
